We have 40 years experience in geology and the mining industry, the mining equities markets and metals markets. Our forecasting track record is World leading (link to the London Bullion Market Association) as is our financial forecasting track record. Our clients include fund managers, commodity traders and mining companies from North American, European and local South African companies.

We offer:

Price forecasts and market analysis of the platinum group metals and their associated by-products. This includes demand and supply forecasts of platinum, palladium and rhodium through, and integrated demand model for, metals which are mainly based on our analysis of global car markets and the different types of vehicles that will dominate the global transport scene over the next two decades.

Our intimate knowledge of the supply side of South African, Zimbabwean, Russian and North American platinum group metals producers has seen our forecasts as some of the most accurate available.

Fair and Reasonable valuations of projects and companies are undertaken on a regular basis for clients wishing to list their projects, sell their mining assets or wind up their companies.

Research on JSE listed resource shares is continuous on a daily basis and valuations are done using the Net Present Value methods in conjunction with Internal Rate of Return calculations using the Discounted Cashflow method that is used by all mining companies for the life of the particular company’s resource base.

Target prices for listed shares are generated using various discount rates commensurate with the market and operational risk inherent in each company.

Valuations of unlisted projects and companies is also undertaken on the same basis.

Demand and supply balance models and price forecasts for copper, nickel, iron ore, and chromite are generated on demand as well as some of the more esoteric metals such as vanadium, cobalt, iridium and ruthenium.

We do deals on an individual basis and do not accept clients if there is a conflict of interest.
